This one is for all the Yogi’s out there! My newest pick for Indigo Care Partners this month is the Yummi Yogi Cookie Cutters. I am excited to share some different ways you can use them that aren’t just for cookies. Yoga is one of my favorite forms of exercise because it improves flexibility and core strength and helps with stress relief. So, I thought, what a better product to share with you than these cute little Yogi cutters. Below are three different ways you can use the Yummi Yogi Cookie Cutters that will align with your health and fitness goals.
- Summer is just around the corner which means BBQ’s and pool parties are just around the corner as well. Use the Yummi Yogi Cookie Cutters to cutout fresh fruit and serve up at a party or backyard get together. This is a quick and easy snack to bring to any party that everyone will love even if they don’t practice yoga. Pro Tip: Melons work the best and the larger the fruit the easier to cut out the yoga shapes. Have fun this summer and stay healthy.
- Get creative in the morning! Transform your average pancakes into a downward dog, the kids will love it! Don’t forget to lightly spray the insides of your Yummi Yogi Cookie cutters to prevent from sticking. Serve with fresh fruit and enjoy!
- Give the gift of Yoga! I love using ingredients from my kitchen to create a fun gift for a friend! (See recipe below.) The best part is that there is no baking required! It’s healthy, tasty and everyone will love it! Plus, you can add any of your favorite ingredients to it as well. Just layer the dry ingredients into a mason jar, attach a Yummi Yogi Cookie Cutter and cooking instructions. Voila! You have an easy and creative gift.
As I mentioned before these are some of my favorite kitchen aids because the possibilities are endless for any age. Kids love them for craft creations and parents love them for a fun way to serve healthy, or sometimes not so healthy foods too. 😉 They can also be used to create candles, ornaments or other creative gifts as well. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do and if you create anything new and exciting with your Yogi cutters we would love for you to share your pictures with us. Just email them to firstname.lastname@example.org, post them directly on our Facebook page or tag us on Twitter (@ncesdietitian)!
